What is expected
Treat people as you would want your own daughter or son treated. Reply or do not reply, but do not pursue someone who has stopped answering. Be honest about your situation, including the parts that are awkward.
No member is required to accept an interest, respond to a message, provide a telephone number, arrange a meeting or continue communicating.
What gets an account removed
Creating a fake profile; impersonating another person; concealing a material matrimonial fact with fraudulent intent; identity theft; harassing or stalking; obscene or sexually explicit communications; threats of violence; blackmail or extortion; fraudulent payment requests; romance scams; unauthorised commercial solicitation; scraping or harvesting member information; selling member information; creating unauthorised databases; using bots to mass-contact users; circumventing platform security; uploading malware; attempting unauthorised access; infringing intellectual-property rights; publishing another person’s confidential information without authority; trafficking or exploitation; promoting unlawful services; or any use of the Platform in violation of applicable law.
Preferences and respect
Members may express lawful matrimonial preferences, and filters exist to serve them. That does not make those preferences ours. Using religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, disability or gender to threaten, harass or degrade another person is a different matter entirely, and ends the account.
